Tell us a little about you…
I am a CrossFit coach at CrossFit Medfield. I work with the town athletics (lacrosse and football). My girlfriend and I have a cute little 6 month old mini Goldendoodle named Hank.
Where did your fitness/athletic journey begin?
I played sports growing up my whole life and then found CrossFit in college.
What’s your favorite part about your sport?
The fact that it is always something different and I get to test myself every day.
Where do you coach at?
I am a CrossFit coach at CF Medfield. I also work with Medifled Lacrosse and Dover football on their strength and conditioning coaching team.
What’d your favorite kind of dessert?
This is tough but I’d say chocolate chip cookies or brownies.
What does your diet/nutrition look like? Any advice to others on things that you've had to learn the hard way in this are of your health and fitness?
I macro my food but since I coach early in the morning I have to be a little different with what I eat first thing. My meals throughout the day are pretty small but at night I really go to town. Not everybody’s nutrition is the same. What works for you might not work for somebody else.
What’s the biggest piece of advice that you’ve been given, that’s made an impact on you as an individual, that you wish to share with others for their journey?
So cliche but enjoy the process. The benefits and final outcome is so short while the process is what we do day in and day out. Try to surround yourself around others that support and want the same goal as you or even better, for you.
