No, not at all. But that doesn't mean you can't make your own healthy version or order a more trimmed up version from the ol' sbux. This is the earliest the PSL has debuted, so we beckon the question, is it too early for pumpkin spice lattes? While it might not feel like fall everywhere around the country, Starbucks certainly has no problem with the pumpkin spice latte release 2018.

Paleo & Keto Pumpkin Spice Latte

Approximate Macros:

  • 60 cal
  • 1g fat
  • 2g carb
  • >1g protein
  • 1g sugar


  1. Heat up 2 tablespoons of pumpkin puree with ½ teaspoon of pumpkin pie spice in a small saucepan. Stir constantly for 2-3 minutes.
  2. Stir in sweetener of choice (1-2 tablespoons) until combined. Pour in your milk of choice (~250ml – she used 240ml almond milk & 1 tablespoon full-fat coconut milk). Simmer until warm, do not boil over.
  3. Add in 1 tablespoon vanilla extract and whisk until frothy.
  4. Pour 2 shots of espresso or coffee in a mug, then add pumpkin spiced milk to the cup. To make bulletproof, add in MCT oil and/or grass-fed butter and blend with an immersion blender.
  5. Top with pumpkin pie spice.
