- Bacon (5 Slices)
- Tri Tip
- 5-6 Medium Sweet Potatoes
- Barbecue sauce
- Black Pepper
- Garlic Salt
This steak and sweet potato protein bowl is not only healthy, it tastes amazing too. Seconds, thirds, whatever it is the gains are real, and with a healthy mix of fat, protein, and complex carbs, you’ll stack on more muscle and strength in a hurry.
- Cube sweet potatoes
- Chop and cube steak
- Cut bacon into pieces
- Mix all spices into a mixing bowl
- Chop up and cube all of the sweet potatoes
- Fill large pot with water and bring to a boil
- Add cubed sweet potatoes and boil for 15 minutes, or until slightly soft
- Drain and wash
- Throw the potatoes into mixing bowl and add oregano, black pepper, garlic salt, and paprika to your liking
- Cut bacon into pieces using scissors
- Add bacon pieces into the same pot you boiled water with and place over medium heat
- Once the bacon is slightly crispy, add the sweet potatoes and chopped up and cubed tri-tip.
- Place over medium heat and cook for 25-30 minutes
- Add barbecue sauce (you can also use sugar free, if you want to cut out the calories) and mix in pot.
- Leave on low heat and serve it up
