Justins Vs Rx Nut Butter

Rx Nut Butter vs. Justin’s Nut Butter? If you’re a nut butter addict like me, then deciding between these two nut buttery gifts of god, is going to be a tough one. So the time has come to put these two scrumptious buttery super snacks in a head-to-head match with Rx Nut Butter Vs Justin's Nut Butter find out which squeezable snack pack is truly the best, when it comes to taste, texture, nutritional value, and price.

What’s Inside?

RX Nut Butter

RX Nut Butter comes in a variety of creamy single serving squeeze packs, which boast 9 grams of protein, 2 grams of fiber, and 190 calories. Like other RX Bar products, RX Nut Butter keeps things simple and straightforward with NO B.S. Packed with egg whites for added protein and natural mouthwatering sugariness like honey, dates, and cinnamon, RX keeps things healthy and delectable. They come in five tasty flavors; peanut butter, honey cinnamon peanut butter, almond butter, maple almond butter, and vanilla almond butter with no added sugar, no dairy, no soy, no gluten, and again NO B.S.

If you’re still wondering about what’s inside RX Nut Butter, you can find more information here WHAT’S INSIDE

Justin’s Nut Butter

Compared to RX Nut Butter, Justin’s Nut Butter has 6 grams of protein (8 grams in peanut butter), 2 grams of fiber, and 190 calories per squeezable pack. In addition to the delicious flavors of Almond and Peanut Butter, Justin’s also offer’s Cashew Butter and Maple Cashew Butter which contains 5 grams of protein, 1 gram of fiber, and 210 calories.

One of the notable differences between Justin's and Rx Nut Butter is that Justin’s uses Palm Oil, as compared RX which uses Coconut Oil. The biggest difference between the two is not so much in the nutritional value, but in the manufacturing process. A large proportion of palm oil production comes at the expense of wildlife, biodiversity and the environment – something to think about. Another big difference is that RXBar adds egg white’s, which is a great way to boost protein content. But if you’re following a vegan diet, then these squeezable snack packs are not for you. Sorry.

The Taste Test

Justin’s Peanut Nut Butter Vs RX Peanut Nut Butter

Justin's Peanut Butter Vs RX Peanut Butter Review

After ripping open Justin’s creamy snack pack, Justin’s Peanut Butter tastes like, ordinary nut butter, but healthier. It’s good, but it’s plain, with a very unentertaining and natural wholesome flavor, which for me is just a bit too basic. RX Peanut butter was the complete opposite and anything but basic. The egg whites provided a creamy texture, which provided a different dynamic while the dates added a morsel of savory sweet. Without question, RX Peanut Butter is much tastier and more satisfying than Justin’s Peanut Butter.

Justin’s Honey Peanut Nut Butter Vs RX Honey Cinnamon Peanut Nut Butter

Justin's Honey Peanut Butter Vs RX Honey Cinnamon Peanut Butter Review

Anything with Honey in it is bound to be good and both RXBar and Justin’s Nut Butter make that point loud and clear. The RX Honey Cinnamon Nut Butter was a bit more dense, but honestly tastier, as it evaded the over toasty honey flavoring by calming your palate with the added cinnamon. RX takes the taste test for the Honey Peanut Butter. However, Justin’s does have Cinnamon Almond Butter, which is seriously delicious.

Justin’s Vanilla Almond Butter Vs RX Almond Butter

Justin's Vanilla Almond Butter Vs RX Vanilla Almond Butter Review

When it comes to Almond Butter, Justin’s has been the go to for years. Almond Butter is more dense and grittier in nature, however when comparing RX Vanilla Almond Butter to Justin’s it seems that Justin’s provides a slightly creamier texture and palatable taste.

A few fundamental differences between the two however, is that RX uses actual vanilla beans and dates for sweetness, compared to Justin’s which uses vanilla powder and organic cane sugar. This also shows in the nutritional contents, as Justin’s has 6 grams of sugar, and RX has 3 grams. Though Justin’s may have a slightly better taste, the nutritional value of RX outweighs the taste of Justin’s in my opinion.

The Price

You can grab a single squeeze pack of Justin’s Almond Butter for $1.59 or a 10-pack for $13.90. RX however, only offers a 10-pack which is priced slightly higher at $15.99. The Peanut Butter comes in a single squeeze pack for $0.79, and the 10-pack is $5.90, as compared to the RX 10-pack of Peanut Butter still at $15.99.

So Which One Is Better, Justin’s Nut Butter Vs RX Nut Butter?

In terms of nutritional value, RX Bar provides a simple and straightforward approach, using wholesome natural ingredients and no b.s. to create a more nutrient-rich product than Justin’s. The difference isn’t huge, but there's still a difference. In terms of taste, RX is hands down the better pick when it comes to Peanut Butter and Almond Butter, with exception to Justin’s Vanilla Almond Butter, which is dangerously delicious. In regards to price, RX Bar is a bit more expensive than Justin’s, but rightfully so. Premium ingredients demand a premium price, which justifies the cost of RX Nut Butter. But $15.99 for a 10-pack of peanut butter is truthfully way too expensive and hard to justify. Even with the added protein and exceptional taste.

Despite which one you pick, Nut Butter provides a great source of healthy fats and protein, in a squeezable convenient snack pack.
