Steak and Sweet Potato Bowl Ingredients

  • Bacon (5 Slices)
  • Tri Tip
  • 5-6 Medium Sweet Potatoes
  • Barbecue sauce
  • Paprika
  • Oregano
  • Black Pepper
  • Garlic Salt

The Directions

This steak and sweet potato protein bowl is not only healthy, but it tastes amazing too. Seconds, thirds, whatever it is the gains are real, and with a healthy mix of fat, protein, and complex carbs, you’ll stack on more muscle and strength in a hurry.

Steak and Sweet Potato Bowl Prep

  • Cube sweet potatoes
  • Chop and cube steak
  • Cut bacon into pieces
  • Mix all spices into a mixing bowl
  1. Chop up and cube all of the sweet potatoes
  2. Fill large pot with water and bring to a boil
  3. Add cubed sweet potatoes and boil for 15 minutes, or until slightly soft
  4. Drain and wash
  5. Throw the potatoes into mixing bowl and add oregano, black pepper, garlic salt, and paprika to your liking
  6. Cut bacon into pieces using scissors
  7. Add bacon pieces into the same pot you boiled water with and place over medium heat
  8. Once the bacon is slightly crispy, add the sweet potatoes and chopped up and cubed tri-tip.
  9. Place over medium heat and cook for 25-30 minutes
  10. Add barbecue sauce (you can also use sugar-free, if you want to cut out the calories) and mix in pot.
  11. Leave on low heat and serve it up
