Kre-Alkalyn Vs Creatine Monohydrate
Kre-Alkalyn is a pH corrected form of creatine, also known as ‘buffered’ creatine. Kre-Alkalyn was created to address the negative side effects associated with ordinary creatine monohydrates, such as cramping, bloating, and water retention specifically by resolving the conversion of creatine to the toxic by-product creatinine. Studies show through real and accelerated time testing, that Kre-Alkalyn maintains pH stability with no degradation up to 5 years, were as creatine monohydrate has a pH between 2-3 as soon as it is dissolved in water, resulting in a highly acidic environment [R].
Unlike creatine monohydrate, Kre-Alkalyn is not degraded to creatinine which subsequently leads to greater bioavailability 1.5 grams of Kre-Alkalyn is equivalent to about 10–15 grams of ordinary Creatine Monohydrate.
Kre-Alkalyn solves for negative side effects often associated with creatine monohydrate such as bloating, water retention and cramping.

I only took it for 9 days and didn’t feel any different in my workouts during that time. If anything, I felt slightly winded and experienced low back pain for a couple of days towards the end of the 9 days. I emailed the company to ask some questions but never heard back from them. I stopped taking it to see if the low back pain went away and it did.. I’m not sure if the pain was related to taking the product..I know I’m very sensitive as to what goes in my body and always eat very clean.. I might try it again in a couple of weeks to see how it goes!

Melanie, we are so sorry for not getting back to you in a timely manner. In order to derive the benefits of any supplement, vitamin or sports nutrition product, you need to consistently take it for a minimum of 90 days. Creatine requires a minimum of 4 weeks to derive any performance benefit, such as increases in strength, power, and endurance. In regards to your back pain, creatine is not linked or known to cause any lower back pain or any algesic effects. I'd say keep taking it, and make sure you are getting plenty of water when you supplement, and take it with at least 6-8oz of water. Let us know how it goes!

As a business owner I realize the effort that goes into providing great service and the importance of showing appreciation as a customer. These guys hit the nail on the head. Very straight forward and went above and beyond to make sure I was satisfied. I decided to wait until after trying the Kre-Alkalyn to leave a review but i was very pleased with the product. No flavor or after taste, went down easy and no gastric issues which is the most important part for me. I have severe digestive issues and supps never sit well. As far as the efficiency of the product I won't really know until the first week has gone by. Seeing as they've put so much care into the quality of their products I have no doubt I'll get the results I'm looking for.
